The bobsleigh track in Maroshévíz is the longest bobsleigh track in Romania. The length of the track exceeds 1,800 meters.
After a slow uphill section, the track descends mostly through the forest, the speed of the sleds reaches 40 km/h. The ascending-descending circuit takes about 8 minutes.

After a short drive above the Déság guesthouse in Zeteváralja (Sub Cetate), we reach the starting point. From here it is a short walk to the house. You must be very quiet here. Feeding takes place in the meadow in front of the house, and after 20-30 minutes the first bear family ventures out. They are very shy, they run away at the slightest disturbance and then come out again.
On average, 10-15 bears are seen in one night.

The tour starts from Zetaváralja, Deság (Sub Cetate, Deșag). In this part of the river, it can be said to be relatively quiet, so it is particularly suitable for the practical learning of what was explained in the theoretical preparation. After the start, the valley gradually narrows and the river takes on the character of mountain water in several places. There is no shortage of sights or excitement here, of course, without beeing in danger. After overcoming fast and slow sections, roars and sharp turns, the whitewater tour ends in Zetelaka (Zetea).

The Snail’s Hill is a geological reserve that spans an area of 8 hectares at Corund/Korond. It is considered the largest aragonite occurrence in Romania, receiving a national protected status since 1980.
The study of the aragonite in the area date from the 18th to 19th centuries. János Bányai (1938) argues that precipitation processes formed the carbonate deposits from saline, carbonated solutions with low temperature.
The Bicaz Gorge (Romanian: Cheile Bicazului, Hungarian: Békás-szoros) is a gorge in Romania, located in the north-east part of the country, in Neamț and Harghita counties. It is situated in the central part of the Hășmaș Mountains, and it is part of the Cheile Bicazului-Hășmaș National Park.
Harghita Mădăraș is the highest peak of the Harghita Mountains and Szeklerland, as well as a holiday and hiking center, located at 31 km from the Chalet.
Located in the middle of Vârghiș gorges in the Perșani mountains, Mereşti cave is a speleological jewel, considered by the speleologists as one of the longest caves in the Eastern Carpathians. The length is about 1400 meters.

Red Lake is one of the largest natural dams in the country, which is part of the Békás-szoros (Cheile Bicaz) and Nagyhagymás National Parks (Hășmașul Mare). The lake was formed in 1837 as a result of a heavy rain when a part of the Gyilkos-Mountain slid down towards the Cohárd block, after this part blocked the valley of the Békás-stream.
Besides the most famous mountain areas of the Szeklerland such as the Harghita mountains, Bicaz gorges, the Red Lake or St. Ana Lake, this region hides many travel spots worthy of admiration. These include the Hășmaș Massif, known among hikers especially due to their number one attraction, the Lonely Rock. Many travelers follow the hiking paths of the
Hășmașul Mare, Hășmașul Negru, those of the Öcsém peak or those at the base of the fascinating talus deposit called the Devil’s Mill.
The Csorgókő waterfall is located in the Székelyvarság (Vârșag) forest, on the Nagykút stream (Fântâna Mare). The water of the stream growing from seven sources falls from a height of 7 meters, resulting in a beautiful two-step waterfall. From there, the water of the Nagykút stream makes its way to the Nagy-Küküllő( Târnava Mare), being a left-hand tributary stream.
Fântâna Brazilor bog is located at an altitude of about 950 m, in the central-western part of the Praid-Dealu volcanic plateau, in Gurghiu Mountains.
In the mountain block of Nagy-Hagymás (Hășmașul Mare) , about 1,600 meters from the southern part of Sípos-rock, there is a speleological miracle, a real dream world made of limestone - the Sugó Cave. The cave has four floors, with three entrances located one above the other, and its length exceeds one kilometer. The name of the cave refers to the whispering sound caused by the impact of the water of the underground stream against the rocks.
The Nyerges-tető or Nyergestető (Romanian: Piatra Niergeș) is an 878 m high pass in Harghita County, Romania, connecting the Transylvanian and the Cesky Basin, between the Cesky Mountains and the Torjai Mountains.

The heart of Jesus statue is a work of art portraying Jesus, on the border of the villages of Farkaslaka (Lupeni), Székelyszentlélek (Bisericani) and Bogárfalva (Bulgăreni), in Szeklerland, part of Romania, in Harghita county.
Located on the 958-meter-high Gordon hill top, the statue also functions as a lookout point, at 47 km from the guesthouse.
Lake Sfânta Ana is the only crater lake in Romania located in the volcanic crater of the Ciomad volcano of the Eastern Carpathians, near Tușnad in the Natural Reserve of Mohoș, Harghita County, Romania.
Vârghiş Gorge is located in the Perșani mountains (1292 m), which belong to the Southern Group of the Oriental Carpathians. The gorge formed in Jurassic limestone and has a length of 4 km.
It is at the border between Harghita and Covasna counties.
The Franciscan church of Șumuleu Ciuc is one of the most famous architectural monuments, being the most important place of pilgrimage in Transylvania.
It was built between 1804-1834 in Baroque style, following the design of Schmidt Konstantin, an architect from Târgu-Mureş. Minor works were made after 1834, the church taking its present form in 1876. Bishop Fogarassy Mihály consecrated it in 20 August 1876.
